Happy Thanksgiving! Missy, the boys, and I will be traveling to Dallas this week for Thanksgiving. We wish everyone a very happy holiday and I will begin posting again first thing Monday morning. In the meantime, start thinking of some topics you would like to discuss. Leave them on this post and I will see what I can come up with next week. We may start a new segment called, "Question of the Week."

Bell, author of The Velvet Elvis has ben traveling the country speaking to thousands of individuals about faith for a new generation. His genuine persona and critical, but respectful, approach to theological matters has been a refreshing voice within the church.

At NorthHaven Church yesterday, we set aside part of our service to express our appreciation for the incredible sacrifice that many of our Veterans and their families have made. I, for one, am forever grateful. One of the most moving moments within the service was when one of our very own, Chaplain Randy Ridenour, addressed the congregation via a recorded message from Baghdad, Iraq.
