The
Ad-hoc Committee of NorthHaven Church charged with giving oversight to the
procedures of electing our inaugural slate of deacons is writing to inform the
congregation of a needed change to the submitted plan.At this point, the process is going
extremely well.However, as the
candidates take time to prayerfully consider accepting this honor, we have determined
that we would like to present a completed slate of names to the church.We are currently working under the
deadline of May 30 to submit a slate, but with the importance of this endeavor
clear to everyone, we want to make certain every candidate has enough time to
prayerfully consider their decision.Therefore, we humbly request that the deadline be moved to a date when a
completed slate can be presented.At that time, the Ad-hoc Committee will submit a completed slate of
seven candidates.
