SPARKee! PDF Print E-mail
Written by JJ Waggoner, Children's Director

Thanks for stopping by and helping us track our SPARKees. The children who participate in SPARK! on Wednessday evenings have hand crafted these little SPARKees and placed them throughout the community for others to spot.  If you would please find the picture of the SPARKee you have seen, note it's number and scroll to the bottom of the page to the 'write a comment' section-in the 'title' section please type the SPARKee number and in the 'comment' section please tell us where you spotted it. Would you please pass the SPARKee along to a new location, a friend, a co-worker, etc. Thanks for participating-we appreciate it!

SPARKEE #3
written by Stacy Woodroof , March 25, 2010

I picked this little guy up in Norman, and brought him home with me to Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a bit scared crossing the Mississippi River, but has decided that he likes it here in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. I will drop him off today somewhere in town....hope I don't cry when we part!

I was given SPARKee #6 by my mom and I left it with a very nice woman at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center. Where will it go next?

Sparkee #10
written by Heather Fish , March 10, 2010

This little sparkee was given to me, and in return I put it by the drink station at 7-11. As I was leaving I heard a couple talking about it. I hope they enjoy it as well.

Where oh where will SPARKee #6 end up? Selling Girl Scout cookies or Karate? What will this weekend hold in store for this brave little guy?

Sparkee #10

I just found this little Sparkee, with all it's flair, visiting the children at Day School during Chapel Time! This little Sparkee is really neat and can't wait to share it's love all of Norman! So excited to see where it visits next!

Little SPARKees No.7 & No. 8 - Go to Work!
written by DAS , March 02, 2010

Well, Little SPARKEE No. 7 & No. 8 are presently hard at work here at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission but one is on its way to the Oklahoma state capitol and the other to the Oklahoma Department of Libraries. Wonder what kind of mischief they'll get into?

SPARKee #9

SPARKee #9 looks like he has lots of energy. He left church yesterday, had a sleepover at my house, and is currently perched on top of my computer screen in the OU women's basketball office. Wonder where he might go next?

we saw the SPARKee at the Post Office on 36th street in Norman. It was really neat and a great way to show the love of Christ to others!

Sparkee #3
written by Kathi Trent , February 27, 2010

Ran all over town today. He ended up at 701 Westridge Terrace at Mimi's house. His buddy Asher wants to take Sparkee3 to his house very soon. Maybe Mimi will let #3 go on a walk to Asher's house. Asher gets to go to Mother's Day Out at NewHaven on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He is a Frog and attends Ms. Sara's class.
